The Opening Cocktail party on April 27th has over 50 members registered, we are still targeting Friday, May 3rd as our opening day on the golf course and the AGM will be held in the dining room on Saturday, May 4th at 3:30 pm.

They are the #1 Small Halls performers in PEI and will entertain you with great music and story telling. They've played to sell out crowds in South Georgian Bay for the past two years. We are fortunate to have booked them for an exclusive appearance for Mad River members and guests. There will be some changes next year, 2020. The purpose of the handicap system is to make the game of golf more enjoyable by enabling golfers of different abilities to compete on an equitable basis. Members must have a valid handicap to play in Club competitions including match play and Men’s and Ladies days where net scores are relevant. It is important that scores, after adjustment for Equitable Stroke Control (next article), be posted promptly. For social events such as the Spring Field Day and nine and dine, the Pro Shop will assign a handicap when needed.
