Ginny Griffin and Gordon Sproule
Ginny Griffin, a family physician in Toronto and her partner Gordon Sproule, Owner of Sproule Specialty Roofing are looking forward to golfing with their friends at Mad River. They have a cabin at Osler Bluff Ski Club.
Richard and Susan Hawkins
Dr. Hawkins is Chairman of the Hawkins Foundation and past program director for the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas Fellowship Program.
Dr. Hawkins has published 9 textbooks in Orthopaedics and he has trained over 200 fellows worldwide in shoulder and sports medicine. He received the 2011 Jack Hughston Award presented by the American Physical Therapy Association’s Sports Section for contribution to Sports Physical Therapy, the 2013 George D. Rovere Award for Education and the 2015 Robert E. Leach Sports Medicine Leadership Award, both from the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He received the Samuel F. Hulbert Award, College of Bioengineering, Clemson University in 2014 and the Order of the Palmetto for South Carolina given by Governor Nikki Haley in 2016, the highest Civilian honor awarded by the Governor.
Dr. Hawkins and his wife, Susan, have two daughters, one son, and five grandchildren. It is with great pride that he had the opportunity to coach all of his children through high school basketball. He and Susan enjoy playing golf, tennis and reading. Dr. Hawkins has recently retired from practice and he and Susan split their time between Florida and Canada to spend time with family and friends.
Out of Body Experience
On March 8th, 5 days before his 76th birthday, Peter Hall playing golf at the Meadowood Golf & Tennis Club in Fort Pierce, Florida where they have been members for the past two winters, shot his best round ever, a 2 over par 74, having never scored better than 82 at Meadowood.
