Congratulations Mad River!

Thank you to everyone at Mad River who so generously donated to the Gilda’s Club Red Door Campaign.

Our collective donation of $16,000 will go a long way towards helping those individuals and families whose lives have been touched by cancer in our local communities.

We are especially grateful to co-hosts Susan Tremblay and Karen Franklin who spearheaded this event and made it happen during Covid-times.    Their tenacity and hard work made for a wonderful event enjoyed by 56 ladies on Tuesday, August 25th.   Kudos to you both!

Stay well and stay safe everyone!

We’re thrilled to officially launch the “Mad Mile”!

With the hyper-focus on the pandemic, especially this spring, we decided to delay the launch of the Mad Mile until we had improved visibility on what would unfold this summer.

If a ball is hit out of bounds or a possible lost ball, there are two options you are allowed to take. You can either re-hit from where the previous shot was taken with a penalty of one shot, or you can drop in the fairway no nearer to the hole with a penalty of two strokes. The second option was recently included in the revised rules of golf to maintain pace of play.

CLUBHOUSE RESERVATIONS:

Thank you to all the members that have been choosing to stay for dinner over the summer. Otta, the servers and I are happy to hear that you're enjoying yourselves and the food.

In recent weeks, we have had a significant increase in members staying for dinner, which can be challenging for us given our staff size.

As a result, we are requesting that you please make a reservation if you intend to stay for dinner. You can leave the reservation in person or call the clubhouse at 705-428-3673 ext. 6.

This will allow us to organize the team as well as tables. Our goal is to make sure everyone has a table and an amazing dining experience in a timely fashion. The Food & Beverage Team thank you for your understanding and patience.

Clubhouse Hours:
Kitchen: 7:00am - 7:30pm (may close at 6:30 if the tee sheet has low numbers)
Bar: 9:00am - 8:30pm (weekends until 9:00pm)

Thank you,
Michelle Larcher
