As we ease into the fall season, and enjoy some wonderful fall golf, you will have surely noticed that some of our fall projects are well underway. We have lowered and enlarged the gold tee at # 15, we were able to repurpose some bentgrass sod from 18 tee to use in this location prior to construction on 18 tee. We have also installed some landscape stones on the side of this tee to showcase our Mad Mile signage, this has been a great improvement in this area.

18 green tee is taking shape nicely, we have been able to reduce the green tee yardage significantly. As you have seen, it has taken a great amount of material in order to achieve the height required for the new green tee at 18. The view of the hole from the back tees with the old white tee removed is terrific. In the coming days, we will be shaping the slope at the front of the new green tee, fine grading, irrigation install as well as removing the red tee and final shaping the areas where the white and red tees were located.

Good luck gents! Don’t forget still two more opportunities this Wednesday to qualify. Special cudos to John Leitch and Michael Woods for being multiple week winners and making the field smaller.
