Well once again Gents, we were blessed with two terrific days of sunshine, great golf, and camaraderie. A very special thanks goes out to our Club’s Professional staff. Once again, Carl and his team, delivered a well organized event.

Thanks also goes out to our Food and Beverage people for providing us with great service.

The playoff once again delivered great entertainment to those who weren’t in it.

Errant shots into the parking lot
If at any time you or a player in your group hits an errant shot into the parking lot, please report this immediately to the golf shop. These shots primarily occur from #18, but on occasion an extraordinarily wild shot can also reach the parking lot from #12.

It is almost unfathomable that anyone can hit a shot from #12 fairway towards the parking lot and not recognize that damage may have resulted from it. One #12 this shot is literally 60 yards off-line, and anyone hitting a shot this far right must report this to the golf shop.

Our Golf Canada membership does cover shattered windows up to $1,000.

In last week’s weekly clinic, we discussed how to hit Low and Normal Trajectory shots around the green by adjusting your ball position (see image below).  This week we will be discussing how to hit high and soft shots around the green, as well as how to set up in the bunker.  Clinics this week will take place at the short range on Wednesday June 28th and 9am and Friday June 30th at 1pm.  If you are interested in signing up, please click here
