It has been nearly a month since we closed for the season on October 31st, however for some of our members, they continue to utilize the Club. The indoor practice area opened on Monday, November 15th for members to work on their games throughout the winter. You can book a 45-minute session for either full swing, or putting practice, on the website or calling the pro shop. As I mentioned in an email that was sent on October 28th, the practice area is located inside the main dining room, adjacent to the pro shop. The full swing practice area features Trackman technology which provides valuable feedback on your practice sessions. We added a new hitting mat and Titleist ProV1 RCT golf balls. The ProV1 RCT golf ball has been engineered for radar-based launch monitors to provide the most accurate golf ball data on these devices for the indoor golf experience. The technology of the ProV1 RCT golf ball has been optimized with Trackman.

Last year, the Trackman was used mainly for practice and lessons. This winter, we have introduced Trackman Sim. On top of getting all the valuable feedback, you can play a round of golf at the same time on some of the top courses around the world. It also does not take very long get your round completed. One player can play a full round in 30-40 minutes, a twosome in just over an hour. The best part for our members is that it’s FREE! Unlike other indoor simulators in the city which charge hourly fees to utilize the space, there is NO CHARGE to our members.

The season has come to an end and we would all be remiss If we didn’t thank Gary and his entire team. So a heartfelt thank you to all of these hard working folks for making our quality of life so enjoyable!

Whether you are looking for more distance, more consistency, or to simply have more fun on the course with your family, the best learning formula is to indoor lessons during the off season.
Anyone who has gone through a swing change will inevitably experience the frustrations and hardships that come with habit change, however, as a former GolfTEC Manager, I have seen the benefits of indoor learning with a multitude of past clients with a 95% success rate!
