The month of May is around the corner and I am optimistic that we will be golfing before May 20

Hi All,
We are in the hurry up, stay safe and wait mode. We will be out there soon!
In the meantime, it’s a good time to spring clean your golf bag, clean your golf shoes, stock up on bug spray, sun screen and masks. Sign one of the new petitions supporting return to golf. Every little bit helps!

Happy spring!
A brief memo from the Accounting department to
Associate and Intermediate members
Due to the flexibility the club affords our family associates to join or leave each year. Our auditors have recommended we change our practice of automatically billing until we are advised by the Equity member which associates will be returning.
The club included the enrollment form in the January billing to the equity member. Please complete and return this form, or send an email advising us how you would like to proceed.
Until the account is activated each year, you will be unable to book tee times.
If you have any questions, or require an enrollment form, please do not hesitate to contact;
Trish Carman – [email protected]
Or
Kathi Brown – [email protected]
We look forward to seeing you again!

WELCOME THESE NEW MEMBERS!
Michael Gagnon & Judy Adams
After deciding to make The Blue Mountains their four-season home and leave the city behind, Michael and Judy are excited to explore everything the region has to offer throughout the year. “Having been part of the membership at Toronto Ski Club for over 10 years, we are looking forward to joining Mad River for not only the wonderful golf course, but also for the community.” Michael, an avid Masters ski racer, has been in technology sales for most of his career, and currently serves as the Business Development Lead at the MEF Forum. Judy, now retired (and loving it), spent most of her career as a solutions architect with Hewlett-Packard. They have two children, Carolyn (27, an associate at NATIONAL Public Relations) and Daniel “Hootie” (25, U16 O-Cup Coach at Toronto Ski Club).

Both partners recently welcomed their first child in Jan+Feb this year, it has been very exciting times for the family (Baby boy Malcolm Schreiber and Baby Girl Scottie Garbutt, watch for them in the Masters 2044).
We are all looking forward to enjoying the summer on the course and we look forward to meeting you all.
