Important Member News - September 22nd Vaccination Policy
As of Wednesday September 22, 2021, the Ontario government requires everyone to be fully vaccinated to access certain public settings and facilities. This includes Mad River’s dining room.
What this Means
From September 22, 2021 until the dining room closes for the season, anyone wishing to access the dining room must provide proof of being fully vaccinated. Both members and guests must adhere to this requirement to ensure the Club remains in compliance with the Regulation.
This change only affects the interior of the clubhouse and not any other part of the golf course property. Additionally, this will NOT impact building access to use the entrance washrooms or golf shop or collecting food at Cupp’s Corner; or passing through to utilize our outdoor patio for dining or beverages.
We are asking all members to assist us by providing the required documentation in advance of September 22
nd, should you think you may wish to access the dining room after that date.

Hello Everyone, What a fun week! Our Ladies Madheim event was a huge success with two glorious days of fun filled golf. A few shots may have been more fun than others but that’s golf! Although Team Canada gave it their best, Team Europe won by a landslide. Many of the matches were undecided right down to the final putt. So Team Canada, remember the score is not representative of your overall play! Congratulations to Team Europe.

I want to thank you, my fellow members, for your understanding during these difficult times when staffing is an issue. Many of the staff have returned to their studies or have full-time careers. Staff shortages will most likely remain the same for the rest of the golf season.
We look forward to the Ryder Cup this coming week, September 22nd and September 23rd, it will have a catered meal on day two.
Everyone is doing a great job of co-operating and keeping spirits up.
